Koh Hong means “Hall Island” or “Island room”. This name is given to the island because the bay on the northern part is completely encased by mountain of limestone that makes it appear like a hall. By plane to Phuket
You can reach Phuket by direct air transfer. There are many international airlines that operate regular flights to Phuket. Even domestic air connectivity in Phuket is excellent and it connects almost all the Phuket and Thailand.

By bus to Phuket
Taking bus route is another option but it can be time consuming and can take around 13 hours journey to reach Phuket from Bangkok. There are several AC and Non AC buses that leave Bangkok Bus Terminals for Phuket on daily basis.

By ferry to Phuket
It depends upon which part of Thailand you need to depart to Phuket, however there are many ferry services to bring visitors from Koh Samui, Krabi, Koh Hong & Pak Bia and Phi Phi. Ferry is a good option to enjoy the sea and wind, it also take less time than road journey.
